Easy Everyday Green Smoothie

Easy Everyday Green Smoothie

I could write a whole book about my quest for the perfect green smoothie. Something light, easy, refreshing, and of course delicious is what I spent months looking for, but only recently found. This amazing Easy Everyday Green Smoothie is packed with greens and anti-inflammatory fresh ginger, but is still simple and filling enough to work for busy mornings.

Easy Everyday Green Smoothie

Green smoothies can be a bit hard to make in some iterations. Some recipes ask for you to do some juicing before you blend (I’m sorry – not gonna happen on a Tuesday morning!) or throw 15 different ingredients together. This recipe, however, takes all of 5 minutes and can be enjoyed on the road if you’re running late or made into a gorgeous bowl with granola and fresh berries for a sit-down meal.

I packed spinach and kale in here for some different texture and an extra boost of vitamins and chlorophyll. Banana and almond butter and a gorgeous natural sweetness and also give you some stamina to get through your day. I do recommend adding the ginger in here as it gives a really delicate refreshing flavor and also helps to keep your system strong throughout the day. Just be sure to get organic ginger as non-organic fresh ginger is often heavy in toxins.

Any good smoothie needs a little shot of water, coconut water, or nut milk to get it going. I recommend nut milk with this version as I personally find that water and coconut water are a bit better suited to smoothies that have frozen berries in them.

Try this one out with my very favorite granola from the blog, my 1 Bowl Perfect Superfood Granola and some extra blueberries and hemp seeds for a gorgeous bowl!
